You know you have
as a woman in STEM
Design what comes next in your work life, without giving up everything you’ve worked hard to build.
Discover why you're unfulfilled

You’re questioning

that you can trust!
I’m Holly, the meaningful work coach. BEng, MA Career Development, QCD.
You can know something isn’t working without knowing whether it’s the job, the culture, glass ceilings, lack of meaning, or simply that what once fitted you no longer does. And when your career also gives the security you value, guessing is expensive.
I know that tension. Early in my engineering career, I had the “great job” I was supposed to want, but felt unfulfilled and couldn’t see what a better work life could realistically look like. Making my own career transitions, and coaching hundreds through this, has taught me:
Before you redesign your career, diagnose the real problem.
Work out what’s yours to change, what belongs to the environment, and what any better option needs to protect, so you don’t recreate the same problem somewhere new.
It’s time to say
Three interconnected steps to the fulfilling work life you want:
Start with who you are and what you uniquely bring.
Find the thread that connects your values and experience to notice more possibilities.
Express your voice and make your value visible.
Specify why, how, and what you can do, so that it’s obvious where you belong.
Work out what it will take to make it real, fast.
Build the resilience, strategic relationships, and resources to make your impact real.

Using fun methods that really work
To leverage everything you’ve built in your career, without being trapped by the past. So that you can realise what a more meaningful, fulfilling working life is for you, and what action to take to make it real.
It’s better to
Leave it long enough and change can start happening under pressure, when you’re burnt out, fed up, or ready to take anything that feels different.
The other risk is quieter: looking back years from now and wondering what might have been possible if you’d had the courage to take yourself seriously, sooner.
It’s never too late, but sooner is better.

What if you could be
Waking up excited for the day ahead even when the work is challenging.
Using more of what you’re capable of on something you genuinely care about.

Coming home with energy left for the people and things you love.
Feeling proud of what you do, not because it seems impressive, but because it feels like a good use of your life.
