What we’re doing about it

Sustainability

ShinyMe is a small company, and this policy is written to that size. It sets out how we run our own operations, what we ask of the people we work with, and what we will not claim.

Last reviewed: September 2026

1. Who this applies to

ShinyMe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16540875), and everyone delivering work in its name, including associate practitioners.

It covers our own operations and the choices we make when buying goods and services. It does not cover the operations of clients who commission us, though we are happy to work within their own sustainability requirements.

2. How we operate

Most of what we do has a small environmental footprint by nature: coaching conversations, workshops and written materials. The choices that matter most to us are travel, materials and the services we buy.

  • Online delivery is offered for every service where it would not reduce its quality, so that travel is a choice rather than a default.
  • Where in-person delivery is right, we use public transport where it is practical and combine visits to the same area into one trip.
  • Materials are produced digitally by default. Where printing is genuinely needed — some group exercises work better on paper — we print only what the session uses.
  • We do not produce branded giveaways, promotional merchandise or single-use event materials.
  • We buy equipment rarely, keep it for its full working life, and repair before replacing.

3. Suppliers and associates

We prefer suppliers who can tell us plainly what their environmental practices are. Where a client has its own supplier standards, we will work to them and provide whatever evidence we hold.

Associate practitioners delivering on our behalf are asked to follow this policy.

4. What we do not claim

We are not carbon neutral and we do not hold an environmental certification such as ISO 14001. We do not currently measure or publish a carbon footprint, and we would rather say so than publish a number we cannot stand behind.

If we obtain a certification or begin measuring, this page will say so and will be dated accordingly.

5. Review and contact

This policy is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if how we work changes materially. The review date at the top is the date it was last considered, not the date it was written.
