Every service user’s
I’m Holly, Founder of ShinyMe.
A Level 7-qualified career development practitioner, QCD, published researcher on careers innovation, and TEDx speaker, with lived experience of social mobility.
I know that when you want to provide enough depth and personalisation for diverse people their confidence, identity, health, circumstances, literacy, intersectionality, criminal record, opportunities and past experiences can all affect what progress occurs.
ShinyMe focuses on the confidence piece of moving closer to the labour market: bringing specialist career-development interventions to the things that can sit underneath whether someone engages, adapts, makes decisions and moves forward sustainably.
Start by building
Everything at ShinyMe is built around our modern, inclusive, evidence-based method:
Recognise what you bring, and where you could belong.
Find a direction by using your whole life experience to uncover strengths, abilities, and growth opportunities.
Discover how to stand out and be yourself in work.
Communicate your value with an evidence bank of stories, and micro-experiments to gain feedback on progress.
Turn possibility into real progress at the right pace.
Map realistic stepping stones, support and resources to test, adapt, and keep moving during setbacks and uncertainty.
Our services applying the competence–confidence loop: micro-actions build competence, feedback strengthens belief, and supported real-world experience creates evidence for the next step.

Choose from fun, ready-to-run group workshops, targeted 1:1 support, digital tools, service reviews and staff training.
All designed to work with your team to identify who it’s for, build interest and make referral easy, with clear messaging and practical tools your advisers can use.
What if you could
Don’t wait for the outcomes to find out progress has stalled.
CV support, training and mentoring can all be available, but without enough work confidence, people may still struggle to use them.
That means good provision goes underused and meaningful early progress stays invisible.

before the final outcome!
Ensuring the people you serve are increasingly able to:
· recognise what they bring · engage with opportunities · make decisions · take realistic next steps · adapt when things change
So more people keep moving towards work, education, or training, and evidence progress along the way.
